Fiore specializes in high technology engineering, facility operations, aircraft/avionics electromagnetics protection and IT, and currently holds Protective Services (security guards, firefighters, safety, environmental protection) and IT Support Contracts at Spaceport America.
Follow the Sun, Inc. is a woman/minority owned New Mexico business that has been in operation as a tour operator and charter bus company since January 2003. We have grown from a single van and minibus to a fleet of 11 vehicles. We have created multiday outbound tours as well as inbound tours for groups both in- and out-of-state. FTS Tours is currently the exclusive, official operator of the Spaceport America Preview Tours.

A New Mexico Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, SDV Construction is a licensed General, Electrical, and Mechanical Contractor highly experienced with construction projects for air force and military bases, national laboratories, research laboratories, specialized hi-tech research and manufacturing clients, hospitals and healthcare facilities, public sector and private industry. The company is based in Albuquerque and works throughout the western United States. SDV was honored with the SBA Region 6 Small Contractor of the Year Award in 2012.
Van Citters Historic Preservation is a woman-owned, small business, established in 1995. Although originally focusing exclusively on historic preservation and architectural history projects, the firm has grown over the years to now provide a wide variety of services including: historic property surveys and historic building preservation plans, cultural resource compliance, historic preservation and NEPA training, heritage conservation, and environmental planning and project management. Our clients include federal agencies, state, local, and tribal governments,and a variety of businesses in the private sector, such as architectural and engineering firms.
Jemez Mountains Research Center, LLC (JMRC), is a private cultural resources consulting firm established in 1986. JMRC offers variety of cultural resources planning, management, research, fieldwork, and information services, with subject-matter expertise in New Mexico, the American Southwest, and northern and central Mexico. The JMRC principal investigators have over 60 years of combined experience in all phases of archaeological, historical, and ethnohistorical research; environmental consulting; cultural resources management and historic preservation; and GIS. Since 2008, JMRC has helped lead the effort to identify, study, and preserve significant archaeological sites and other historic properties located on and in the vicinity of the campus as the Spaceport America infrastructure is developed, a process that embodies the benefits of pro-active collaboration between historic preservation and development.
Zia Engineering & Environmental Consultants, LLC., a Las Cruces-based consulting firm with offices in several states was awarded a contract by the New Mexico Spaceport Authority (NMSA) to provide Cultural Resources Data Recovery and Reporting services for Spaceport America. Zia conducted archaeological data recovery investigations in conformance to state and federal guidelines at four identified sites located within the Spaceport’s boundaries.

How to Nominate a Crewmember
Individuals employed by New Mexico Spaceport Authority (NMSA) support contractors (Crewmembers) who distinguish themselves in their work are eligible to receive a quarterly NMSA Crewmember Recognition Award. NMSA state employees are not eligible. Awards will be given for service of outstanding nature that distinguishes the individual in his or her particular area of responsibility. Emphasis for this recognition is placed on actions that go above and beyond the call of duty and that reflect positively on Spaceport America.
